General Wedding Guidelines

We specialize in playing your requested songs for your ceremony! You can request any 3 songs 1 for your wedding party processional, 1 for your bridal processional, and 1 for your exit. Whether itʻs your newest favorite pop tune or favorite classic rock song we will either find or have an arrangement made- this is our gift to you!

For additional song requests that fall within the prelude or post ceremony timeframe, you may either choose from our current list, or pay for any additional arrangements that we do not currently have.

Prelude (Music while guests are being seated)
Before the ceremony begins, you may choose a style of music choose song requests to be played while your guests are being seated for the ceremony.

Processional (entrance Music for the wedding party)
Depending on your party, you may want to customize a playlist for your parents, friends, or bridesmaids! It is also very common to have only one song for everyone depending on how many people are in your party, and how quickly everyone will be seated.

Processional (Entrance music for the Bride)
After the wedding party is seated, we will play the music for the Bride. Here are a few examples of songs for the bride processional: Classical: Pachelbel Canon; Wagner Wedding March; Bach Arioso Cantata 156 Pop: Christina Perri: A Thousand Years; John Legend Imagine; Train-Marry Me

 Recessional (exit music)
You may let us know what the officiant’s last words will be before you’ll exit the ceremony so that we can start the music! Upbeat happy music is a common choice for exit music.

Changing a Wedding or Special Event time

Once a contract is signed the time is finalized. However if the musicians are all available for the new time requested and there is no change in the length of time then there are no additional fees. Fees will only apply if the timeline is changed less than 2 weeks from the event. If you would like the musicians to stay longer, and they are all available, then a $150/musician per hour overtime fee will be put into effect. Timelines changes must be within a 1/2 hour from the original time.

Playing Outdoors

Since many of our instruments are antiques, it is important to take care of them and protect them from the elements. If the venue is outdoors, it is up to the client/host to provide a cover for the musicians.

What to have ready On Site for us?

All we need are armless chairs for the musicians! Since many of our instruments are antiques, it is important to take care of them and protect them from the elements. If the venue is outdoors, it is up to the client/host to provide a cover for the musicians.

Electricity and Amplification

The most natural sound is one without amplification as string instruments were built to project. However in some instances where an electric piano is required, we provide portable sound amplification free of charge.
